Acquest had experience in the attorney staffing industry and noted the emergence of eDiscovery and managed documents review services.  We felt that there was space in the market for a new national provider of managed document review services.  We promoted the concept to private equity firms, found a sponsor and identified a suitable CEO.  The purchase of Black Letter Discovery was the first step in the plan to build a national organization.
