Clean Earth, Inc. acquires EWS Alabama, Inc.:  EWS is a hazardous and non-hazardous waste management services company operating a fully permitted RCRA Part B facility.  The acquisition by Clean Earth opens new markets and expanded customer bases for both companies. ESW’s regulatory permits, and extensive processing capabilities enables Clean Earth to recycle carbon black, utilize fuel blending, process medical waste and recycle new forms of non-hazardous waste.  Acquest represented Clean Earth in the transaction, being the second deal consummated with Clean Earth in 18 months. These transactions underscore Acquest’s versatility advising both sellers and buyers in the environmental services industry.

Vaco acquires a controlling interest in iFind Group: IT and F&A staffing provider Vaco operates across the country in 30+ markets but lacked a presence in NYC and needed a strong New York team. The iFind Group is a high-growth New York City market leader in the placement of finance and accounting professionals to financial institutions in NYC with a specialty in the alternative investment arena.  iFind’s owners were interested in expanding both their contract services division and broadening their geographic reach.  There was perfect complementarity between Vaco’s objectives and iFind’s.  The deal was completed in less than 6 weeks. Acquest represented iFind in the transaction.

Infinigy Solutions sells a majority stake and is recapitalized by Magic Software: Infinigy is a professional engineering firm providing services nationwide to wireless telecommunications carriers and infrastructure owners and support companies.  Israeli based Magic Software had existing U.S. wireless support service activities. It saw a perfect fit with Infinigy as a way of providing a new service line to its existing customer base.  Magic’s strong financial resources and size enables Infinigy to credibly compete for the very largest assignments. Acquest represented Infinigy in the transaction.

Addison Group divests its RPO business InSync: IT and F&A professional staffing firm Addison Group engaged Acquest to divest it of its RPO business which was not a strategically relevant business line. Israel-based Formula Systems Ltd. was the successful acquirer.  Acquest represented Addison Group in the transaction.

AES Environmental LLC acquired by Clean Earth, Inc.: AES, a handler and processor of hazardous and non-hazardous waste engaged Acquest to sell the company as the owner desired a full liquidity event. Clean Earth, Inc., a leading environmental service company owned by NYSE listed Compass Diversified Holdings completed the transaction.

Allstates Technical Services sold to Magic Software: founded in 1948, Allstates is one of the oldest full service providers of engineering and IT professionals in the U.S. The business was not considered a core competancy of Allstates’ parent, publicly traded KBR, Inc, a major engineering, procurement, and construction company. Acquest approach KBR on behalf of Magic Software and acted for it in the transaction.

Air Industries Group acquires AMK Technical Services: publicly traded Air Industries engaged Acquest to source appropriate opportunities to further expand its activities as a manufacturer of critical parts and assemblies to both the military and civilian aerospace industry. AMK is a long established provider of sophisticated welding and machining services with a long roster of Tier 1 aerospace industry customers. It was sold by publicly traded Dynamic Materials Corp.
